Adrian Schultheiss took part in Euros first time. There is some his comments about this competition: “I think, it’s a great experience for me to take part in Euros-2006. I’m happy, that I was there, though I’m not satisfied very much with my skating. I know I can skate better. Especially in free program I skated not so well. i lost my concentration some in the 6 minutes warm up and had a strength feeling after popping so much and falling in the warm-up and i think that was the problem why some of my jumps just went double. But anyway it’s my debut, so everything is ok. Kristoffer had some mistakes in his programs too. But he skated better than me. What can I say about Lina Johansson’s skating? She did not take high place. But she was injured. I think, she did everything that she could in her situation.”
Short Kristoffer’s comments: “This Euros was ok, but i had hope for a little better. Now we only have one spot for next year again... I only saw adrian’s short program, there he did really good, and overall i think he did a good first Europeans. I feel sorry for lina, but she was injured for a long time and it takes a long time to get back (i know...)” |
