On 12th of February finished Nordic Championships. You can find results at Danish figure skating association site- www.danskate.dk
Adrian Schultheiss took first place in senior men’s competition. Here are his thoughts about Nordics: “ Before this competition I was not in good shape. When I had to skate my short program, I had not any idea how I would go and skate it. But I did so perfect program and I was very happy. I was a bit surprised; it went so good, while I had not good practices before. After then in free program I tried to do quad first time in competitions. I think, it was good, though I fell. But anyway it was a quad! Then the rest of free program was ok!”
Here are Filip Stiller’s thoughts: My thoughts about Nordics is that I did a really good last competition of the season, I was very happy. I did well in both programs and I can't ask for more than that. In the short I got a PB even though I only did 3Lz+2T instead of 3-3, but I did my best program presentation-wise in my life so that is why. I couldn't help that Adrian broke the swedish record with an amazing skate with 3F+3T, 3A and 3Lz! He was 11.5 points ahead already thanks to this skate so the competition was of course over already. But I made a new goal to win the free, and I did! I landed six triples completely clean (3S+3T+2T, 3F+2T, 3Lz, 3Lz+2T, 3F, 2A, 2A) and only missed one (1 Lo). Adrian tried the quad, a really good attempt, but he fell and it was downgraded but it was really close that it was ratified. He then fell on the 3A, but landed five nice triples: 3Lz, 3S+2T, 3F, 3Lz+2T, 3T, and doubled the loop. So I won the free but of course I was too far behind to win overall.
