Summer 2006 is over :( many people have asked how skaters were spending this summer, so I decided to write article about it. Here you go! Skaters spent most of the summer in different camps. And they had really not so much time for rest. That’s what Kristoffer Berntsson told me about his summer: “First I skated two weeks in Gothenburg in June with Andrea. Then I skated two weeks at ice dome. Lina was going and she said it was good last year so I decided to go. I liked it, it was a good camp and I also enjoyed skating with Verner and Kostner. Then I went to Flims, Switzerland, where I trained with Kudriatsev. It was not always so easy to understand him, but he shows what to do and then one of the Russians can translate. I skated there almost 3 weeks and then I had almost one week off :) Now we began skating in Landvetter. Some words about programs this season: We decided to keep old SP, but I have new FP. Zerjon Abebe did the choreography for my new FP” .
Adrian Schultheiss tells about his summer: “ Well first I was on camp in Gothenburg, after I had physic camp, then I was in Nora, it’s a small town where my coach has a camp in the summer, after that I went to Estonia on a camp what my coach had to. And then I went to Spain on Mishin’s camp. Everything was going good. With jumps there were no problem. But…then I injured myself. I had muscle bristning how we call it in Sweden. But in English it’s when it’s on the leg down over foot and under knee, big muscle there between. So I had to go back to Sweden earlier, than other skaters. I worked all summer with my coach Loutkov and only 5 days with Mishin. . And I guess I liked Nora more. “ Find 2 photos from Adrian’s summer in his photo album.
Filip Stiller spent his summer in Stockholm, working for at a whitegoods company.
