Wonderful show “Gold ice of Stradivarius”. Eugeni Plushenko, Edvin Marton, Irina Slutskaya and many others took part in unforgettable ice show in Saint-Petersburg on the 6th of April. Before that show I was at press-conference. Eugeni Plushenko said that he really likes the idea of such show:” Just figure skating is banal. But when figure skating is together with music, with acrobatics on ice, with humor, it’s very interesting”.
Many journalists were interested in question, if Plushenko will compete next season. He answered: “It’s possible. I know that some journalists wrote that I WILL compete for sure. But it’s not exactly. I can say that it could happen, I still think about it. But I did not take any exact decisions yet. Edvin Marton added: “The only thing which we can say is that we are thinking about music for next season. We have some ideas”. Plushenko: “And some really famous Italian designers will make costumes for me”. This show in Saint-Petersburg was 20th, and after that skaters were planning to take a break for 2 weeks and then continue working again. Edvin Marton: “Everybody misses their children, girlfriends, wives. I talked to Naomi Lang today (American pair skater), she misses her daughter a lot. So during 2 weeks of break we will spend some time with our families. “ Most of questions were to Plushenko. So there are some of them: -How do you spend your free time? -I don’t have much free time. -But we heard that you are planning to be in hotel business. -You have the old information. I’m already in hotel business. -What are you going to do in nearest future? -I’m planning to go to America. Will work there, prepare for future life. -How do you think, it’s possible to hold Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi? -Of course, why not? I think we have big chance to get it. I really believe and hope that it will happen. -Are you tired after 20 shows? -No, not so much. You know, you really get tired, when you have 90 shows during 4 months in America. But 20 shows are not so awful (smiles). Question to Plushenko and Slutskaya: Which diet do you keep to be in perfect shape? Slutskaya: “I think that diet must be individual for every person. Something which is good for me can be not so good for other people. Diet is serious thing.” Plushenko: “I think that we should have sex more”. (Everybody was laughing).
