Kristoffer Berntsson and Adrian Schultheiss shares their thoughts about ECH 2008 in Zagreb. |

Kristoffer took 7th place and Adrian took 6th. Read their comments:
Kristoffer: The competition started out great with a good short program where I did all the elements well except a small hand down on the flip. I finished 5th after the short so I skated in the last group for the long. I felt ready and pumped for the long, and the crowd went crazy when the last group took the ice, a great feeling to be out there with the best skaters. The program started well with a 3A-3T combination, but then not much went my way. Fell on the second axel, dubble flip and a fall on the second flip. I ended up 7th overall. My best place ever, but not satisfied at all, I know I can do much better and the chances were good for an even better place. But I will work even harder to be ready for worlds!
Adrian: In short program I was very happy with clean skating, i really like my music and my choreografi, So it was fun to skate, free program was good, I did not spend too much energy on choreografi. I wanted more to skate safe and do my things. I succeed with that, and overall im happy with result of competition. It was only my second ECH, and of course i can make it better than I did, but it was nice. I did not watch so much other skaters, but it was sad with Kristoffer’s free program, because i know he can do better. Overall competition was good. |
